Mobile Life

By my art practice, the audience can find a reflection of their own life, thus triggering empathy and reflection on their own lives.

I hope to get away from my negative feelings by playing with my phone to get entertainment, but when it's over, I feel like I've wasted time lying in bed all day playing with my phone. I turn on my phone for a bit before going to bed, then stay up late and fall into a deep guilt and self-doubt the next day. But it's as if the process is cycling through again every day.

This is not only a daily routine in my life, but also reflects a state of life of many young people today: wanting to work hard, but regretting it for wasting time in some entertainment, and a heavy reliance on mobile phones.

However Is this necessarily wrong? Must idleness and recreation be all bad?

Nowadays, the pace of social life is busy and fast-paced, as if we have set various KPIs for our lives, and we are afraid of losing at the starting line and at various nodes. When we have a period of empty windows, a period of idle recreation, we feel that we are not a social success, that we are slowing down and that we are being left behind by society. So when we put the shackles of utilitarianism on our leisure, we feel guilty.

How to balance relaxation and recreation with hard work is the question left open.
